Hi! Welcome to the Study Peace website. You will notice that this particular site is currently related to an upper elementary school classroom. This leads to the obvious question: what does that have to do with peace studies?
I believe that to teach is to practice peace. To teach is to acknowledge that all human beings–great and small–are capable and willing participants in the art of peaceful human interactions. This site is the blending of two of my passions–peace and education. Eventually I will maintain two sites, one specifically for my elementary classroom needs and one for my continued exploration of the global practice of peace.
